A Slipped Disc-ipline!

I have a problem - and it is my fault!

I have a slipped disc-ipline! It's not in my back ... it is in my head and my heart!

Over the last several months (even years) I've been very busy - and I've allowed my "disciplines" to slip - especially my "spiritual disciplines" and my "physical disciplines."

So, I've decided to "slow down" so I can "catch up" with my soul a bit. This will mean that I have to say "no" to some good things - which I hate to do - but I must - in order to say "yes" to the best things!

I also realize that "less really is more." Some things I must do less of - so that I can accomplish more that really matters. It will take discipline to do so. It starts today!

John Maxwell points out in his book, "Today Matters" that real sustainable change doesn't happen in an instant, but it is cultivated through a process. He reminds us that "the secret of your success is determined by your daily agenda." I am changing up my daily agenda - in order to cultivate the changes I need to make in my life!

I am also praying for God's grace to overcome my "slipped discipline" - and I look forward to the fruit of renewed focus in my daily life!

Great to hear, brother. Let me know how I can support you with this. With an increased focus on discipline, you also must have accountability as well.
