A 40-Day Spiritual Journey

We are preparing for a 40-day spiritual journey at Sonrise. We believe God is going to do a great thing in our midst. Our journey begins this week on Ash Wednesday (March 9, 2011) and will continue through Palm Sunday (April 17, 2011).

When God transforms a person, he often does it over 40 days:

- Noah had his life transformed by 40 days of rain.

- Moses was transformed by 40 days on Mount Sinai.

- Joshua& Caleb were changed by 40 days in the Promised Land.

- The city of Ninevah was transformed by 40 days of repentance.

- Jesus was empowered by 40 days in the wilderness.

- The Disciples spent 40 days with Jesus after his resurrection.
